Like a Fish Needs a Bicycle
This piece was inspired by the phrase coined by Irina Dunn as a paraphrase of 'A man without faith is like a fish without a bicycle' written by the philosopher Charles S. Harris in 1958. Gloria Steinem made it popular as an expression of feminist independence. In this work the fist part of the title is left blank so the viewer can insert their own phrase. |
